personality:
Jack has a crazy personality. One moment she can be utterly calm, the next she can be a bitch and full of spitfire. She is a whirlwind of a girl, and fights strongly for what she believes in.
Now beginning with the basics, Jack is your average teenage girl. She likes boys, doesn't care too much about school, watches t.v., oh and she fixes cars and races better than most guys. Saying this, you'll find that Jack can be extremely cocky. With a win lose attitude she doesn't mind a good fight every once in a while.
On the other hand, Jack can be very calm and relaxed. You can find her reading a book and listening to Enya on rainy days. Although she does have a strange array of music interest, she listens to whatever matches her mood. Jack can be one of the guys. It's not hard for her, even with her gentle nature, matched with her spitfire and quick attitude. Basically she's a smart ass, and proud of it.
"Don't get your family slaughtered for pride."

history:
Jack was born on May 1, 1988 in Santee, California. The whole family was there, including their dog out in the truck. It was a sight to behold. Those first few years were the wonderful. Her mother was there taking care of her, her father was working, and she got to spend lots of time with her family, it was great.
Around the time that Jack turned 7 her mother left Jack with her father. Jack didn't really understand what was going on, except that her mother was gone and didn't want to come back. Many things happened in those following monthes, Aunt Michelle and Maci moved into their three story house with them, Aunt Michelle taking care of them all. A big happy family of coyotes, oh yeah did I mention Jack and her family weren't purely human?
From the time she was born, Jack could change into a coyote. It was like her second skin, and it was apart of who she was. Maci and Aunt Michelle could do it too and so could Jack's father. It ran in the family and was as common in their family as their fair skin. The only bad thing was they lived next door to the local alpha's home. Adam's house was full of werewolves constantly. Jack was friends with his daughter Jesse and they would play together, so after a certain age Jack just ignored the wolves, for they were like family too.
But growing up with no mother, a family of shape-shifters, and family friends that were werewolves wasn't always great for a girl. High school was another story. Freshman year Jack, Jesse, and Maci all went to Santana together, feeling too cool for school. They thought they were great. Jack and Maci weren't entirely human and could smell, hear and see better than anyone in their class, they were faster and stronger and excelled in sports, and Jesse was the pretty, smart girl. They made a good team. It stayed like that until halfway through their sophmore year.
When they came back from Christmas break Santana high school was abuzz about some new kids. It was the usual buzz of cute guy and cute girl, the three girls ignored it. But when all three girls walked into Weight Lifting after lunch they knew something was up. Jack picked it up immediately with her nose, and so did Maci. Jesse just knew it from the way they walked and how they moved. New werewolves in town. They were young, and obviously weren't related, but they stayed close together, showing that they were together. Jack bristled, dominance kicking in, for she was her fathers daughter. She walked up and introduced herself, playing the dominance games that she had learned from Jesse's father. They played back, and watched them as the girls went away to work out.
Over the next week, Adam checked it out and kept an eye on the newcomers and spoke to them in person. The family was just a nomadic family, staying in Santee for a short time. Adam gave them permission to stay, but that was a big mistake. A week after Adam had given them his permission they caused havoc in the town. Life from there out was hell. Jack, Maci, and Jesse weren't allowed to do anything and Adam had called lock down.
Larry, Jack's father, was fed up with the drama four monthes after it started, and uprooted Jack. Jack didn't want to go, she didn't want to leave Aunt Michele, Maci, Jesse and Adam and the place she loved, but her father was making her go. He decided they were going to move to Washington, coyotes were as common there as they were in California so they could go unnoticed. It sounded great until they got there. It was summer so there was not school, they moved into a large house again, with a room that was a bottom room and then there was a loft ladder into an upper story of the room, Jack called dibbs. Jack went to school for her Junior year, hating every step of the way.
"You will never put me through that again."

She lay under her father's old blue Jetta, her skinny jean clad legs sticking out from under the car. Cussing up a storm she used muscle to do her work with a frustrated determination. Transmission jacks be damned, the only way to get a transmission back into an old Jetta is with muscle. Jack found it useful to be a female working on cars with many things, like her hands were smaller and could get into smaller spaces, yet in the small space, no matter her strength as a coyote, she still had a hard time getting the damn thing in.
Grunting with effort, Jack held the transmission where it belonged with her knees and one hand. With the other she slipped first one then another bolt in and tightened them, one after the other. With a sigh, she got the transmission where it belonged. As she was getting out from under the car, covered in grease and her long dark hair tied into a braid, she saw Maci walking towards her.
"Hey trouble, what do you need?" Jack asked as Maci got closer. Jack knew she was late, she had been up since 4 in the morning working on the car, making sure it was completely fixed so he could go to work, yet she wasn't ready for school yet.
"Your late, once again." Maci said sweetly. She smiled as she helped Jack up from under the car and lead the way towards the three story house. They lived on the outskirts of town, just inside the forest, the perfect place for a bunch of coyotes. "You have 15 minutes to get ready and then we have to leave, unless your going to ride the bike to school and speed." Maci said with a hint of sarcasm. 'Ha she's learning from me,' Jack thought as she followed Maci into the house.
"Ah, you go ahead in the car. I'm going to show this school what trouble looks like," Jack replied with a crooked smile. Maci rolled her eyes turning around and leaving as Jack jumped in for a quick rinse off. She was one of the few girls who could get ready quickly when she needed to. In 12 minutes she was ready with a nice amount of make up on, her hair tied in a looes braid for the ride and a tight pair of skinny jeans and good looking shirt with her leather jacket on. She looked good, and looked like trouble. Perfect.
Grabbing her pack, she walked out the door, yelling a good bye to her father and aunt. Smiling as she pulled her black helmet on, and revved the engine of her black and red 2006 Kawasaki Ninja. It was her baby, aside from her old car. They were her loves in life at the moment, and she didn't have a care. As she rode to school she thought about how kids would think her and Maci rich brats. It was partially true, except for the fact that her father had gotten almost a million dollars from his father when he died and with the fact that he was a writer, Sci-Fi author, that got money in too.
The ride was great and when she pulled into the school lot, she heard the bell ringing and students starting to go to class, just in time, and she hadn't broken 100 mph, although she'd gotten close. Bringing the bike to a rumbling stop, she parked and dismounted, pulling off her helmet and taking out her braid, allowing her hair to lay down her back, she smiled as Maci walked toward her.
"Oh yeah, as usual you have to top everyone else." She teased. In California, they had lived in Santee, a white trash town that had been fun. Off roading with the guys, and driving and shopping with the chicks had filled Jack's time.
"You think I had any other plan in mind?" She asked as she headed towards the front office. "It's our first time at this small place and in my opinion, I wanted to make a scene, although, I guess we'll have a lot of posers trying to be our friends now." She got quiet as she said that. That had been the three of theirs joke, hers, Jessi and Maci's. She missed Jessi. They had all done everything together and it was going to be a hard year without her.
